Student Government
Student Councils are the representative student government of the schools and serve as a liaison to the faculty and administration within the schools and colleges. The student council provides a wide range of services and activities, both academic and extracurricular. The councils also authorize funding to student organizations whose memberships are exclusively from one school or college. TischSchool of the Arts has two student councils, TUSC - the Tisch Undergraduate Student Council, and GSO - the Graduate Student Organization. Student Clubs and Organizations
TUSC sponsors all student clubs as well as orientation events and some department-related activities. Tisch students are encouraged to become active in clubs and organizations - those who do usually find their involvement extremely rewarding.
