December 11, 2006 - New York University's Tisch School of the Arts, the leading film school in the United States, is bringing its first-rate graduate film production program to Asia, fall of 2007.
Located in Singapore, the program offers the same Master of Fine Arts Degree in film that is offered by Tisch in New York City. The program is a concentrated three-year course of study intergrating theory and practice in an effort to develop individual creative filmmaking potential. It provides detailed instruction and practical experience in the various aspects of filmmmaking, including writing, directing, acting, cinematography, editing, sound recording, and applied aesthetics. The program also seeks to educate students in the workings of the entertainment industry and the demands of career in film.
The M.F.A. program features award winning faculty from New York and outstanding production facilities, all situated against the backdrop of Singapore, one of the most exciting and dynamic regions of Asia.
