Tisch Mentor Program

Welcome and congratulations on your acceptance to the Tisch School of the Arts! The Tisch mentor program provides all incoming students with a current Tisch student he or she can rely on to ease the transition from high school to college, from home to New York City.

Your Mentor

Your mentor is a current Tisch student in your department (for Drama students your department and studio), to whom you can turn with any questions you may have about starting your college career. There is no such thing as a silly or foolish question. Your mentor is there to provide you with the kind of detailed answers you can't obtain anywhere else. They are your personal resource, please use them!  You will receive an introductory email from your mentor in June and they will be in communication throughout the summer leading up to Orientation Week.

Orientation Week

You will meet your mentor in person during Orientation week, which begins on Sunday, August 30th. Information regarding Orientation will sent over the summer.

If you have any questions about the mentor program please email Wes Hopper, Administrative Aide for Student Affairs at wh19@nyu.edu.  We look forward to meeting you at Orientation!
